VPN Relay ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the VPN Relay application and related services.
What we do not collect
We do not log, monitor, or store your browsing activity, DNS queries, or the content of your internet traffic while connected to our relay service.
Information we process
- Device identifier: A randomly generated UUID created on first launch to register your device and manage your trial or subscription status.
- App Store receipts: When you purchase a subscription, we verify your receipt with Apple to confirm your entitlement. We store a hash of the receipt, not the full receipt contents.
- Connection metadata: Relay nodes report aggregate connection counts for load balancing. This does not include personal data or traffic content.
How we use information
- Authenticate your device and issue short-lived session tokens
- Verify subscription status and trial eligibility
- Route your traffic to available relay nodes
- Maintain and improve service reliability
Data retention
Device registration records are retained while your account is active. Session tokens expire automatically after one hour. We do not retain traffic logs because we do not collect them.
Third parties
Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details. Receipt verification is performed against Apple's servers.
Security
Traffic between your device and our relays is encrypted in transit. Session tokens are signed with industry-standard cryptography and expire automatically.
Children's privacy
VPN Relay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
